Happy Meal Time Office

The foyer of the office, to begin with, was designed as a triangular shape, indicating a welcoming gesture of embracing. The short side of the triangle serves as a wall covered with digital media screens. They display information data of each branch nationwide and witness guests immersing themselves in the digital world. Whereas the long side of the triangle is a strip of lights from the top to the floor, stretched through the mapping of the mirror finished stainless steel over the top, a background reception wall comes into view like a waterfall stream. In the meantime, the triangular reception desk which looks like an arrow echoes the open reception area, guiding guests into the interior space.

All the spaces where employees work and interact with each other permanently are arranged by the windows, allowing every employee to enjoy sunshine throughout the day. Moreover, felt, wood wool acoustic panels and perforated gypsum boards are applied extensively in the formal working areas and conference rooms. These materials are either adaptive to the lightings, or become part of the wall decorations or are orderly arranged due to a reorganized design purpose. Hidden in the aesthetics, the acoustic design helps create an office with a favorable acoustic environment.

The top of the office uses lines to establish the style of the space, and the overall large color block of the space creates a vibrant, relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. The bright conference room is adjacent to the open work area and the independent office is set up to strike a dynamic balance between open and independent spaces. The combination of natural color and sun-light serves as the core of the comfortable overall design experience. The designer hopes to make it simplified, without deliberately over-satisfying aesthetics and functions in order to achieve design integration of materials and functions reflecting harmonious unity, warmth, comfort and purity.
