Dongting. Jin Maoyue

The project is located in the vicinity of the new district of Dongfeng Lake, Hu'nan province, featuring simplicity and light luxury for a modern residential area.





Based on white-led natural slates, the porch is uniquely designed with simple and straight lines. A spot of gold and grey brings richer visual elements with a sense of elegance. The curved lighting eases the feeling of whole space and further introduce a pure sensation of white. In addition, the large French windows bring sufficient light into the room with a delicate effect produced by staggered light and shadow which intensify the the visual hierarchy of the space and create a world full of natural scenery outside.



For the lobby area, the designer increases the proportion of metallic feel and uses luxurious marble and craft glass as the background. The multi-layered ceiling and the marble background with symmetrical pattern give the transitional space an adequate sense of classic and ritual homecoming. Meanwhile, the paving of imitation stones on the wall and ground here adopts a relatively interlaced structure with a sense of relief to counteract an overly serious atmosphere, creating a relaxed space atmosphere through the contrast of order and disorder.



The design of the stilt floor differs from the square and efficient shaping of the first two. Considering the functional needs of different age groups in the community, the design team sets up various forms of functional scenes for the stilt floor and hopes to implant the sharing willingness into the stilt floor of the community, with more emphasis on the practicality of the function and the interactions of the residents. In terms of colors and configurations, more youthful and soft bright colors and curves are taken as the base, and the overall design also pays more attention to the creation of spatial art atmosphere, interactivity and real experience. Owners can enjoy convenient services all day long and age-friendly facilities. The design not only brings independence to the seniors, but also allows the younger generation to have some fun activities at the same time.
