Fuzhou Longfor Villa

The project is located in the middle of Liangcuo Cultural Village and The Strait Arts Center, naturally at the intersection of history and future. We hope to create a high-quality public space under this staggered urban base, integrating history, humanity, art and nature, and bringing "comfort" and "prosperity" that people really pursue in Fuzhou.
This project is a bold practice of the best ideal state of small "public space" under the rapid renewal of Fuzhou city. Based on the thousand-year history of Liangcuo and the style of Song Dynasty, it deconstructs and recombines the local traditional architectural elements and presents them in a new manner. Drawing lessons from the Song style gardening technique, the space is interspersed and penetrated, blurring the sense of boundary, evoking the personality and memory of the site in a modern way, and creating a very specific shared aesthetic scene. The combination of the hidden and the exposed, the dynamic and static of each other, the nature and culture of each other, for the people here to bring an immersive garden trip, become a new place for nearby residents to stay, gather, contact, give people more possibilities in daily life.
