Since the Covid-19 outbreak, the number of people who bring their own lunch has increased by 35%. If the food container is not stored or reheated at an improper temperature, germs and bacterias will breed, which leads to hygiene problems.

FOLDIE is a foldable thermal insulated lunch bag with heating and cooling functions. The semiconductor Peltier cell unit accurately controls the temperature from -2~65℃. Through the external controller, users can set up the automated heating program according to their lunchtime. The bag shell is made of a three-layer composite insulated fabric, creating an insulated environment within the bag. Besides, FOLDIE is designed with a foldable structure, allowing it to be folded down to 4.5cm and makes it highly portable. 

FOLDIE’s excellent temperature control range and its adaptability to various types of food and beverages enables it to be applicable to various scenarios. Ultimately, its  goal is to promote public awareness on the hygienic and sustainable benefits of bringing their own lunch.
