In people's daily lives and social events, furniture is the key to creating a living or working environment . As society's economic standards rise, consumers place increasing emphasis on functionality, quality, appearance and even character of their furniture.
Isolated Forest is a display and sales center located downtown in a three-story building that goes from the basement to the second floor. It's design combines its brand identity and features by thinking outside the box and going beyond regular display. With a theater feel, it perfectly renders and elaborates on every piece of specifically-selected furniture, installment artworks and soft furnishings, each of which is looked upon as a main character.
The display section is inspired by the concept of a forest, using organic materials and geometric lines from natural elements to shape a setting where a story slowly unfolds like an opera. The gray and white walls tie with same-tone carpet and light wood-vein floor tiles to accentuate the designer’s touch of the furniture with natural rusticity. In this open-concept space, a large image wall of forest consisting of verdant trees creates an outdoor space for a dream home, connecting the lush boulevard outside as well as sunlight and greenness through French windows. It also serves to match the thematic imagery of naturalness and sustainability of a forest, where the furniture originates.
From the entryway to the core section indoors, the open-floor display area has a tall ceiling that makes the space look even more expansive. Though limited by its existing structure and air-conditioning system, the ceiling is characterized by geometric lines transformed from natural curves, thereby enriching spatial layers. The columns and protruding parts in the space are also tactfully integrated with the installment of a bar and a bathroom, making the entire sets of furniture in the living room and the dining room as well as individual chairs and bar furnishing blend seamlessly and harmoniously together.
The design makes the best of the space and combines the furniture brand’s values of nature, indigenousness and sustainability as well as its features.
