Low chroma colors dilute the intensity in the space. Time is frozen in a simple and pure color palette. The room allows immersion with all five senses and the residents can escape from noisy city streets, release accumulated fatigue, and enjoy the serenity in the environment.
Upon entering the entryway, the pure white tone reveals a stable and unrestrained visual impression. Incorporating fun and vibrant terrazzo into the flooring can create a visually arresting space. At the corner, two light strips are carefully placed inside the display case. The transparent glass reflects light like clear crystals to lend a boutique gallery-like luxurious atmosphere and at the same time preventing collisions.
The wooden flooring leads to the living room, and the entryway is purposely extended with a wall to create a cat playground. The shelf, cat house, and cat walkway allow the cat to move vertically. The cat walkway turns along the wall to the lower level of the TV cabinet in a curved line, creating a smooth visual line and linking the harmonious interaction between the volumes.
The gray paint is hand-painted with a trowel to build the main TV wall. The warm and simple texture along with the calming wood gives off mellow and stable vibes, while the crystalline gold texture deftly decorates the main wall to inject a refined layer to the gray field. The outer side of the TV wall is wrapped with soft curves to cover the cabinets and conceal the abruptness of the structural columns, creating a simple spatial sequence. The curved form spreads upward to the canopy and walls. The curved arc in the spanning structural beams softens the heaviness of volume, while the curved room door keeps a cohesive design, allowing the neat space to retain its gentle curvature and flexibility.
