I often think about how to combine kitchen safety with products so that everyone can cook with peace of mind and reduce the occurrence of disasters. According to the statistics of the fire department, the proportion of fires caused by "stove cooking" ranks first. And my mission is to make products that can prevent human negligence fires caused by empty burns, and to protect the elderly and those with poor memory in the home, hoping people all over the world can be free from the fear of kitchen fires.

We are able to manage everything from product design to function research and development to mold manufacturing. Design is not just a beautification process, but a way to solve problems without changing how you are used to cooking. We consider the customer's safety and home safety into product design so that our designs can improve living while also promoting safety and ease.

To maximize its value, excellent design should be both aesthetically beautiful and safe. Our product design considers the fact that elderly people do not easily change their habits over time, so users do not need to change their initial cooking habit and stove at home, which can improve the use of the elders in the household. Instead, simply replace the switch to "Peace of Mind Off" to use. The cooking process is automatically managed by an AI microcomputer, which is simple and convenient to use while also protecting the user's personal safety.

In terms of a product, a good design should not only enhance the existing functions, but also provide safety, convenience, and improve the quality of life.

Standing in the user's perspective, we make AI microcomputer fully automatic control, remove unnecessary decoration, and focus on the advantages and characteristics of the product. We hope not to change the user's original habits, so that the product is integrated into their own lives, amplifying safety, minimizing the potential risks of life and defending the safety of users and their families. Furthermore, due to the combination of specifically chosen materials, the product durability is more strengthened, as long as the product is used properly, this product can not only bring safety, but it may accompany the user and the family for a long time.

It was because my family nearly caused a calamity by failing to turn off the fire. We decided to create a product that can detect a fire and automatically extinguish it. There are fewer designs that focus on function in the case of pots and pans because the time cost is relatively expensive and a certain level of expertise is essential. With 30 years of experience and expertise in the industry, we decided to leverage our experience and resources to do this. We are not producing this product for profit, but rather to reduce the possibility of disaster. With this belief, our team has solved numerous problems that may arise with this product, and we have improved the product's ease so that it may be incorporated into every household.

Since Taiwan has entered the aging society, taking care of the elders is a common issue in Taiwan. The mission of our company is to make the elders use the cookware at home with peace of mind. Therefore, the safety of this product is the most important aspect of the design process.

For us, this award brings us great confidence and proves that our vision and strategy are on the right track. We hope that more people will see our products and bring home safety and convenience to the world.

The original idea of SEFI KNOB and SEFI PAN was to protect the elders and those with poor memory in the family. We also made reference to the fact that cooking over 220 degrees will cause grease and smoke, and over 240 degrees will cause chemical reactions and carcinogens. We combine this temperature data with the product, and the product will display the temperature and sound an alert to remind the family. If the flame isn't lowered after the warning, the product will automatically help to turn off the flame to reduce the chance of a possible accident. We chose this project to participate in the contest because we want more people to see our invention and promote the idea of improving home safety.

During the epidemic, we encountered many force majeure, and we also encountered the problem of factory closure when we developed the mold. In addition, there is no standard stove version on the market, and how to make this product into every home, our team has studied a lot of stove on the market for this. In product testing, how to make the product temperature unaffected by external temperature and season, how to strengthen the position of the pointer sensor, and how to make the product connected to the automatic flame off without external interference, many adjustments, back and forth after two to three years, but we finally solved all the problems.

In addition to demonstrating that we are doing the right thing, we are also able to make our designs more visible to more people, and actually live up to our original vision of reducing the likelihood of disaster in every home.

Seeing people using the designed products, seeing our designed products reduce carcinogens, and having our products prevent the chance of disasters in each home.

Most of the designs in our country are based on external design and ease of use, and the design is easy to attract people and achieve the designer's internal satisfaction. However, in the case of pots and pans, it is necessary to enlarge the function of the product. Therefore, we combine shape, convenience, and product function to create products that bring safety.

Nowadays, design is not only about visual sensation, but also about integrating social issues, such as how to achieve ESG sustainable management. Therefore, I believe that in the next 5 to 10 years, the design industry will have more and more excellent products that take social responsibility and environmental protection into account, and I am looking forward to this.

Pay more attention to social issues. This is what I would like to suggest most, "Take from society, Give back to society, this is the ideal that every designer should carry out.

Nowadays, the internet is international and it is more and more convenient to gather information. In order to improve design skills, we should collect different opinions, so that we can make a perfect combination of product design and sustainable management of society. Therefore, I would recommend people who want to advance in this area to consult more and watch more, which is the most effective way.

My father has dedicated a lifetime of time and effort to the cookware industry. When he was about to retire, his greatest wish was to develop a product that would automatically turn off the heat so that users and their families could cook with peace of mind. So this product is a vision that either me or my father has always wanted to accomplish.

My father once almost caused a disaster when he forgot to turn off the fire. When this happened, I became more aware of the possibility of fires caused by cooking, which can happen in every home. And there are very few products on the market that can perfectly reduce such disasters. No one wants a disaster to happen to them or their family. I hope that my family can avoid the possibility of such a disaster, and I also hope that such a problem will become less and less common in society.

All the time, the brand of our company insists on our ideal of "Safety, Innovation, and Green". We also insist on using only good materials to create good products. If I didn't feel comfortable using it myself, I wouldn't even let this product come out. For every product I invent and create, there is absolutely no doubt about the materials and safety.
