Wonderland of Light and Shadow

The showroom "Wonderland of Light and Shadow" was launched by Nippon Paint at Guangzhou Design Week. In cooperation with PONE Architecture's Design Director Ming Lueng, Nippon Paint ingeniously used Magic Paint to create this exhibition, intertwining the rich colors and textures of Magic Paint with the flow of light and shadow, interpreting the aesthetic and functional characteristics of Nippon Paint products.

The unique visual appearance in this exhibition is none other than the "standing bucket" arrays. These inverted pyramids are inspired by the Nippon Paint's Chinese brand name "立邦." The designer took the " /" in the middle of the word "立" and cleverly applied this bucket-like element to the ceiling design. In traditional Chinese culture, the standing bucket used for loading grain at reaping represents harvest and joy; here, carrying happiness and delight, the booth also brought Nippon Paint's most sincere blessings to visitors.

In addition, each bucket corresponds to a magic space with unique themes, separated by a mazelike wall and art installation. Interactive light pillars connecting each room serve as a medium between the structure and the viewer, providing a dynamic and exciting exploration experience for each visitor.

To create a "wonderland" vibe, the designer drew inspiration from the sunrise moment on the Pink Sands Beach of the Bahamas, receiving ideas from the gift of nature and applying magical colors to different showrooms—from the romantic colors at sunrise to the smoky pink that breaks in later, then gradually turning to intense orange at noon, and finally slowly transitioning to a calming foggy blue after joining violet colors. Walking through the exhibition is like wandering between dream and reality.
