OCTOPUSBOX OFFICE

This project is a renovation of an old factory in Foshan, China. The refurbished building will become the newest workplace for the owner, OCTOPUSBOX. The area of this project is about 2000 square meters, mainly used for office and meeting guests, and at the same time to realize the salon's demand. In terms of design, the designers took "spatial emotion" as a clue to conduct a spatial form exploration, creating pure and restrained minimalist art, while conveying the viewer's attitude and pursuit of design.

Since the project was formerly an old and dilapidated factory building, with a large area lacking light and ventilation, and the main body of the structure had been damaged, the design team increased the structure of the overall building, ordered the various functional spaces, and broke the original architectural pattern to open light windows and ventilation shafts, so that the indoor and outdoor areas could be combined with each other and circulated to improve the comfort of the office space.
