It's about merging nature with the Way, embodying the philosophy of non-action by Lao Tzu. Non-action allows all things to develop harmoniously, flowing naturally and effortlessly. In the space of more than 700 meters, the initial ecology of "preserving uncarved block" rather than "eliminating uncarved block " removes the tangible ideological framework, which is the spiritual realm of penetrating the original heart and adapting to nature.


“Let native trees become unique natural illuminators”

The space formed by bamboo architecture mainly adopts its adjustment characteristics according to local conditions, and then develops the tree types in the park through the illumination of lights. The light hidden in split bamboo pieces becomes a concealed and low-key existence, and the halo is like the haze in the mountains. When people travel, they can feel the alternating changes of light and shadow like clouds and fog, and freely shuttle between nature.

”See the forest but not the trees“

In the design of Nature Being, the elements of the oyster shed constructed by local oyster farmers at sea are taken as the main axis to respond to the environment and natural ecology. The architectural form design strives to blur the extremely large volume of more than 700 meters, and at the same time, the possibility of in-situ reuse of the materials is also considered. As a whole, thousands of bamboos are intertwined with more than 100 native tree species in the field, providing people with a kind of sight and imagination of "seeing the forest but not the trees".

”Hand-painted linear optical axis hidden in bamboo forest“

The lighting design is comprehensively considered in the dialogue between the local natural environment, humanistic connotation and religious belief. When viewed from the other side at night, huge installations can also be easily hidden among bamboos and forests, blurring into linear optical axes with hand-painted texture, and matching with the flickering effect of different regions, they are on the same side as Mazu, the goddess of sea and become the watchmen of fishing boats in the harbor like beacon lights.
