Hearty

Hearty is a bone conduction hearing aid that uses electrical stimulation to improve hearing in children aged 3 to 6 with reversible hearing loss. According to statistics, about 2% of preschool children in Taiwan are facing hearing problems. Since children's ear canals are not yet fully developed, the inner ear is more fragile and susceptible to bacterial attack, if not treated in time and wearing hearing aids may adversely affect their learning and social life, and the current treatment methods are less able to help improve hearing in the usual way. Hearty uses bone conduction combined with electronic acupuncture points to minimize irritation to the ear canal while increasing blood circulation and improving hearing, providing a more natural and sustainable solution for children at a critical time in their hearing and language development.
