In this loft residence, the designer embraced the innate advantages of the architecture, transforming the space into a sanctuary filled with light and serenity. The renovation aimed to amplify natural light while maintaining a sense of openness and calm throughout.

Upon entering, the newly designed foyer redefines the experience. The under-stair area is extended into a storage room, creating a hallway that offers both privacy and functionality. This space not only enhances storage but also provides a buffer for the entry flow, ensuring a more intimate transition into the living areas.

The living room is adorned with warm wooden ceilings and seamless flooring, complemented by a soft gray Italian stucco finish. These simple yet elegant materials cultivate a rich, humanistic atmosphere. To counterbalance the weight of the wooden ceiling, the sofa is positioned beneath a glass mezzanine, cleverly avoiding any sense of heaviness while adding an element of playfulness.

Behind the half-height TV wall, a multifunctional space emerges, elevated to define its boundaries. The underfloor area is used for additional storage, while the raised platform serves as a cozy reading nook, yoga space, or even a guest room, offering versatile possibilities without compromising the overall sense of openness.

The staircase, once an RC structure, is reimagined with transparent glass and titanium edging, achieving a light, modern aesthetic. Along the inner wall, carefully proportioned niches form a display feature, akin to a treasure cabinet, turning the staircase into a focal point of art and design.

On the second floor, the master bedroom replaces a traditional bed frame with a raised platform and low walls. When bathed in soft, warm light, the atmosphere exudes tranquility, fostering a restful ambiance.

Through thoughtful design and a deep understanding of the building's strengths, the designer created a layered residence that is both soothing and filled with natural light. Every corner invites relaxation, making this home a poetic retreat that harmonizes architectural beauty with everyday living.
