About The Entry

The Global Talent Summit - Hong Kong, organised by Hong Kong Talent Engage (HKTE), is a platform aimed at promoting global career development prospects. OVAL Design Limited, as the design consultant and contractor for the HKTE booth, had meticulously crafted the design to align with the event's theme and effectively showcase Hong Kong's distinctive advantages and abundant opportunities to talents from around the world.

The design of the HKTE booth serves as a symbolic "talent gate", symbolising Hong Kong's welcoming stance towards global talents. The entrance features an angled cut-out structure, ensuring enhanced visibility for visitors. The booth offers a centralised information hub for visitors to gain valuable insights into the developmental advantages of Hong Kong.

In addition to the eye-catching symbol of HKTE, the booth incorporates dynamic video content on a three-side LED wall to attract visitors with its stunning visual impact. Straight lines and bold effects are utilised to create a strong visual impact, incorporating different angles of diagonal lines and shapes to produce varying effects from different perspectives. The use of energetic orange-red and visionary metallic silver colour creates a visually appealing contrast and sense of balance.

The engineering structure of the booth presents challenges, particularly in supporting the angled cut-out structure and the three-sided LED wall. Precise mechanical calculations and engineering expertise are crucial to ensure stability and structural integrity, especially without the support of overhead suspension. The construction process requires careful planning and execution to achieve the desired design within a tight timeframe.

In the sense of sustainability, our approach is to reduce carbon footprint. The exhibition emphasises the advantages of Hong Kong, utilising digital formats to reduce paper consumption and partnering with local suppliers and vendors who prioritise sustainable practices to reduce transportation emissions and support the local economy.

Overall, we created a visually striking and structurally sound booth for HKTE effectively conveyed the message of Hong Kong's appeal to global talents.
