MAISON DÉ ESTHÉTIQUE

This project, themed “Elegant Gathering at Shizi Mountain, Heavenly Crafts in Suzhou”, creates a venue dedicated to the collection of non-heritage culture within a modern art museum.
The landscape structure covers various areas including the entrance, VIP parking, and display interfaces. The organizational traffic is organized in five distinct visual elements: “Forest Spring”, where spring water flows from the wall into a blue diamond water table; “Plunging Waterfall”, characterized by a high-ceiling scenic wall that encircles a water feature and display interface; and “Glaze Light”, which incorporates a scenic wall to create a ceremonial entrance featuring a copper nozzle and a prominent Chinese tallow tree; the mirror water feature titled “Courtyard Front” surrounds a green island and includes specialized treatments for the scenic wall, while the “Rise of the Clouds” showcases a gilt sculpture and Chinese tallow tree that play with light and shadow. The sunken courtyard at the rear is divided into three sections: “Cloud Steps and Plunging Waterfalls” , a two-tiered terrace courtyard with integrated waterfalls and steps; “Gilt Pavilion” , notable for its distinctive pavilion shape; and “Clear Pond” , which features a pond and scenic stones to enhance the plant space.
Each landscape node has been thoughtfully designed with due consideration given to material selection, spatial arrangement, element coordination, and the interplay of light and shadow, thereby exemplifying the harmonious integration of architecture and landscape. This approach skillfully merges natural beauty with contemporary aesthetics, creating a uniquely crafted landscape space.
