About The Entry

Traditional basketball shoes fail to keep up with today's fast-paced court movements and athletes' unique styles. Consequently, BIO BB takes inspiration from racing shoes and innovatively incorporates functional features beneficial for running into basketball shoes. It aims to offer basketball players greater flexibility, lighter weight, and enhanced rolling efficiency, thus improving their athletic performance.

Structurally, by adopting the racing shoe last which features a small heel-toe difference and large last arc, BIO BB promotes a forward-centered landing posture and reduces the impact force during landing. It offers great flexibility for multi-directional running thanks to the toe spring and last curve far greater than traditional basketball shoes. Moreover, BIO BB adopts creative Qu!kFLOAT technology for the midsole's carbon plate instead of the traditional sandwich-style fitting structure, reducing the center of gravity while offering excellent rolling assistance. The one-piece molding technology enables the carbon plate to maintain its overall stability during intense basketball battles and prevents any displacement, thereby achieving better athletic performance. Furthermore, the front end of the carbon plate adopts a forked structure and hollow design to assist in smooth movements in rapid direction changes.

Additionally, BIO BB emphasizes its lightweight design, using independent foam to fill three force-receiving parts, namely the tongue, instep and heel. Compared with traditional basketball shoes, this method cuts down on the foam used in unnecessary areas and greatly reduces the self-weight of the shoe, each weighing only 300g.
