About The Entry

S-Track is designed for beach rescues, solving traditional stretchers’ issues of sinking in sand and relying only on manual transport. Its foldable design enables quick deployment and compact storage, while ATV towing reduces resistance for better mobility and efficiency. By combining manual and vehicle-assisted transport, Strack lessens physical strain, speeds up patient transfer, and offers a more efficient, terrain-adapted solution than conventional rescue stretchers.

Rescuing injured individuals on sandy terrain is challenging, as ambulances cannot directly access these areas. Rescue personnel must manually transport patients, requiring significant effort and limiting efficiency, especially in mass casualty situations. Interviews with lifeguards and emergency responders revealed that most beach rescues still rely on manual lifting, which is physically demanding and time-consuming. This highlighted the need for a more efficient transport solution.
