About The Entry

The overall design of Liaoyuan Junior High School seeks to preserve community memories, extend local culture and urban history, while shaping a sustainable, diverse urban habitat. It aims to create a distinctive art colony with safe, eco-friendly architecture, fostering a vibrant campus and an ecological oasis that sparks creativity. Envisioned as a "third teacher" alongside mentors and peers, the campus serves as a versatile stage for free artistic activities, offering diverse possibilities.

Drawing inspiration from natural landscapes, "bosom friend" culture and industrial spirit, the design centers on the concept of "Urban Gorge, Landscape Music Platform". It features rhythmic architectural forms that echo local heritage, connecting spaces via multi-dimensional terraces and corridors to create harmonious rhythms. The Rainbow Art Gallery forms a dynamic path, while ascending terraces serve as open stages and enclosed volumes act as containers for diverse activities. An ecological axis integrates urban park greenery, letting "bosom friend" culture flow through the campus and inspiring students and teachers to explore the future.
