About The Entry
This project aims to alleviate the problem of "road rage" caused by poor communication by designing a visual communication system based on headlight language. Through researching user profiles and triggering scenarios, six types of high-frequency driving communication intentions are identified and transformed into a unified light language. The system is controlled by steering wheel buttons, combined with ESP32-E master control, NeoPixel light strip and vibration motor to achieve interactive feedback. During the design process, interaction efficiency, driving safety and light language recognition were considered, and functional prototypes were built and tested.
