Chengdu·Zhaoshang Xi

This project reimagines a luxury residential sales center as an experiential space, merging international luxury hotel standards with a focus on lifestyle and emotional value. Situated in a vibrant location, it reflects Chengdu's mountainous terrain and laid-back temperament through the use of natural imagery, warm-toned stone, and curvilinear forms inspired by "water-worn pebbles." The design flows seamlessly through spaces such as the lobby, reading lounge, and fitness areas, creating a unified, rhythmic visual order that balances Eastern naturalism with international sophistication.

Sustainability is a core principle, with material choices prioritizing natural stone, renewable wood veneer, low-carbon metals, and high-performance glass. FSC-certified wood, low-VOC materials, and recyclable metals are incorporated throughout to minimize environmental impact. Energy-saving systems, such as smart dimming, zoned air conditioning, and fresh air monitoring, ensure minimal operational energy use, while large-scale natural lighting reduces reliance on artificial lighting. These elements work together to reduce the overall environmental footprint while ensuring a healthy, comfortable space for residents.

The design also addresses the functional needs of the space, with a focus on physical and mental well-being. The project features spaces for fitness, yoga, and reading, offering enduring value and transforming the sales center into a public interface for lifestyle. High-ceiling spaces are made more approachable with metallic linear lighting and arched ceilings, while the aerial reading lounge uses lightweight load-bearing structures and concealed steel beams to achieve a floating, transparent feel.

Precision fabrication techniques, including 3D modeling, CNC custom fabrication, and seamless finishing, ensure smooth transitions and high-quality realization of the curved forms. By integrating advanced technology with an emphasis on human well-being and sustainability, this project sets a new benchmark for high-end residential sales centers, blending luxury, functionality, and environmental responsibility.
