Floating Eternity

We break through the "structural limitations" of traditional weddings, transcending structural mechanics to make the crystals "float." The theme is "Floating Eternity" at NICCOLO Hotel, deconstructing the immersive banquet design within a 13-meter vertical space. We break through the ultimate application of materials by dismantling the structure of the crystal chandelier and transforming it into a giant installation 10 meters high and 8 meters wide, suspended in the scene, breaking the boundaries of crystals as mere reflective materials. Through precise structural calculations, tens of thousands of crystal beads appear to "float" or "freeze" in the air, creating a stunning sense of time standing still.
·Defying mediocrity: Many wedding designs are constrained by structural limitations—fear of obstructing the view, load-bearing capacity, or transportation. The greatest value of this proposal lies in demonstrating that structure is not a limitation, but a language of design.
· Negative Space Design: The air and gaps left between massive crystal installations create a sense of breathing. This design approach does not fill the space but rather carves it. It demonstrates to the industry that wedding design can possess the same penetrating power and volumetric quality as architecture.
· The Ultimate Interpretation of Style: The essence of immersive weddings lies in vertical envelopment, whereas traditional immersive experiences predominantly rely on ground-level or perimeter barriers. This project ingeniously utilizes a 13-meter height difference to design crystal chandeliers that extend bidirectionally—both upward and downward. When illuminated, the light cascades through the crystals, creating a mesmerizing interplay of refraction that fills the entire banquet space. Centered around the couple, the audience is enveloped in a three-dimensional light field. Through its monumental scale and meticulous details, the design transcends the physical boundaries of the venue, transporting viewers into a realm of pure emotional resonance.
