The Yun Collection Sanya

The design of the Yun Collection Sanya renovation is inspired by the mountains and forests surrounded by a tropical climate. Guided by the concept of “Breeze Fresh,” the design creates a space reminiscent of a gentle forest breeze in a valley, offering guests a sense of light, green freshness.
Starting from this concept, the design adopts a “light + delight” strategy: the spatial tone is fresh and open, with soft, natural textures and materials—such as travertine-like stone panel, oak-like wood, and woven fabrics—extending horizontally to create a relaxed, airy, and light-filled atmosphere. Handcrafted, tropical, forest-, and coast-inspired materials and soft furnishings—such as straw pendant lamps, hand-woven rattan decorations and furniture, shell mosaics, and botanical tiles—are scattered throughout the space, forming delightful accents that brighten the guest experience.
The spatial sequence has been carefully reorganized, allowing guests to experience a continuous and unfolding series of spatial narratives from the moment they arrive. The public spaces are structured around clear axial shifts and anchors, organizing a range of distinct lounge areas. Along the main axis, a large-scale green art installation and a sunken lounge surrounded by white travertine immerse guests in a forest-like setting, blending Eastern Zen aesthetics with tropical landscape. The open, airy spaces grow organically alongside the surrounding natural forest, evoking a sense of ease and lightness.
The guestroom design draws inspiration from a wooden fruit bowl filled with tropical fruits. Clean, continuous wood finishes wrap and support various functional and decorative elements. The rooms open toward the landscape, framing the tropical scenery woven by the forest and shutters through arched picture windows.
