The energy return rate of midsole materials directly affects racing performance. Traditional EVA and standard TPU typically deliver only 60–75% energy return, with much of the kinetic energy lost as heat energy upon foot strike. Built around a patented “dynamic molecular spring” structure, Anta Nitrogen 95 reduces energy loss to under 5% and achieves up to 95% energy return—validated by independent laboratory testing, exceeding the top performance of all comparable products on the market.
The midsole is made from pure TPU with a molecular weight exceeding 300,000. Using a supercritical fluid foaming process, millions of microcells are created to form a three-dimensional interconnected elastic network. Upon foot strike, the molecular chains compress in unison like precision springs to store energy; at toe-off, this energy is released with minimal loss, providing forward propulsion.
The midsole delivers high energy return without compromising cushioning. With a 7.2 peak gravity, it helps convert impact into propulsion while easing stress on the joints. With a density below 0.09 g/cm³, the ultra-light midsole provides strong support for high-speed running.
The foaming process uses only nitrogen, without any chemical foaming agents. No scrap material is generated during production, keeping environmental impact throughout the entire manufacturing chain to an absolute minimum.
