About The Entry

Nestled in the Nan Yandang Mountain Scenic Area, the project is designed to harmonize with its rich natural environment, including clear streams, caves, peaks, and waterfalls. It is the first high-end resort in Pingyang that integrates leisure, political and corporate conferences, and wellness retreats. Drawing inspiration from Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism, the design aims to create a “Royal Eastern Garden” and a “Sanctuary of the Soul,” rooted in the region's unique landscape.

The design follows the “Way of Nature” and the aesthetic values of the Song Dynasty, emphasizing an ecological cycle of “deriving from nature and returning to nature.” Cultural symbols like “Crabapple Floral Patterns,” “Flying Geese,” and “Leaning on a Staff to Listen to the Spring” are integrated into the space, with elements of classical Chinese culture such as music, calligraphy, painting, tea, and incense. These elements foster a leisurely and serene atmosphere, enhancing the guest experience.

The project innovatively blends cultural heritage with technological advancements. The lobby, inspired by the theme “Mountain-Water Gathering under the Clear Moon,” recreates Song painting aesthetics through cyan-green hues and negative space. Dining and tea areas incorporate elements like “Seclusion among Bamboo” and “Roses before Flowers,” revitalizing Pingyang bamboo weaving heritage and translating scholarly aesthetics into modern design. Guest rooms echo the theme “Mountain Pavilions and Secluded Verandas,” with wood veneer creating an atmosphere of tranquility and solitude.

Given the high humidity in the Oujiang River basin, the design incorporates materials with excellent moisture-proof properties, ensuring durability. The 1,800 sqm ballroom features a modular partition system, allowing flexible transformations to meet various needs, enhancing space utilization during peak and off-peak seasons. The project also incorporates pet-friendly rooms, providing a competitive edge in the cultural tourism accommodation market.
