Audio Orbit

Audio Orbit is an immersive seating solution for libraries, open offices, and other public spaces, addressing the conflict between focus and social interaction. Inspired by over-ear noise-canceling headphones, the design translates personal auditory isolation into a full-body spatial experience, creating a "personal sanctuary" that allows users to freely transition between deep focus and open communication.

The wraparound side wings and curved top structure provide visual guidance and psychological cues, guiding users into a focused state. The 360° swivel base serves as the key interactive mechanism, enabling users to self-regulate immersion through physical orientation: turning inward creates an enclosed space for deep work; turning outward enables quick return to open communication.

Eco-friendly PET acoustic panels effectively absorb mid-to-high frequency noise. The seat combines high-resilience foam with skin-friendly linen-cotton fabric for long-lasting comfort. The dark gray-blue color scheme, grounded in color psychology, creates a calm, focused atmosphere that promotes mental clarity.
