Forest Nook Residence

Nestled in the bustling urban area, Forest Nook Residence takes "returning to nature and embracing simple life" as its core design concept. Breaking free from cumbersome decorations and exaggerated design techniques, the project focuses on the authenticity, comfort and texture of human dwelling. Adopting warm and plain wood tones as the spatial foundation, combined with pure white hues and elegant marble textures, the designer creates a restrained, clean and sophisticated modern residence, turning a downtown home into a tranquil retreat that soothes the mind and calms the soul amid the hustle and bustle of city life.

The overall spatial layout features smooth and transparent circulation. The iconic white spiral staircase serves as the visual soul of the entire residence. Its flexible and flowing curves break the rigid regularity of hard architectural spaces, vertically connecting all functional areas and enriching the three-dimensional rhythm of the interior. Acting as an artistic focal point running through the whole house, it perfectly integrates practicality and aesthetic appeal. The integrated open-plan design of the living, dining and kitchen areas eliminates the segmentation of traditional independent spaces, optimizing natural lighting, panoramic views and daily movement routes.

A ceiling-free main lighting system and linear light strips are adopted throughout the space to deliver soft and even diffused light, blurring spatial boundaries and creating a quiet, warm and cozy residential atmosphere. The layered texture of the interior is shaped by the subtle collision of premium materials: the warm grain of wood veneers, the crisp permeability of sintered stone, and the elegant texture of marble blend and balance with one another, presenting the original beauty of materials without deliberate embellishment. Matched with low-saturation dark-toned furniture, the soft space is endowed with steady and elegant temperament, achieving a perfect balance between warmth and rigidity and relieving the impetuosity and fatigue of urban life.
