About The Entry

A home is more than just a vessel for living; it is a sanctuary for life's aesthetics and memories. Grounded in the philosophy of "Less is More," this project strips design down to its spatial essence, exploring the relationship between people, light, materials, and time. Rather than seeing the obvious structural beams and columns as constraints, the design transforms them into spatial rhythm and visual layers. Through the warmth of wood, the grounding presence of stone, and the fluid dance of light and shadow, a natural, orderly setting for daily life is beautifully unveiled.

Centering on the residents' lifestyle, the design seamlessly connects public social spaces with private quarters through precise functional planning and a curated palette of materials, ensuring every corner holds its own unique character and vibe. We believe that truly moving design does not lie in flashy forms, but in allowing a space to mellow with time—continuously carrying life, memories, and emotions, making home an enduring, ideal haven where happiness resides.

The journey begins in the foyer, where an expansive palette of wood crafts a comforting homecoming ritual, its warm texture gently slowing down the pace of daily life. This flows into the living room, where a natural stone feature wall mirrors the main television backdrop, using opposing vistas and continuous material flow to create an expansive sense of visual depth. Nearby, the dining area integrates a wine display cabinet, effortlessly weaving aesthetics and social function into a vibrant hub for family connection and guest entertainment. For quiet contemplation, a private study utilizes a serene, grounding material palette to foster deep focus. The master bedroom offers a more intimate retreat, cleverly integrating a walk-in closet within a transitional layout that balances fluid movement with comprehensive storage, all anchored by a soft fabric-upholstered headboard for a deeply restful experience. Finally, the children's bedrooms break away from rigid conventions to honor individual expression; the daughter's room uses delicate design language to paint a dreamlike atmosphere, while the son's room contrasts rich indigo tones with dedicated showcases for action figures and sneakers, beautifully charting his personal journey of growing up.
