UMI THE FUTURE LAND CLUB, CHANGSHU

Located in the core area of Changshu City Railway, UMI THE FUTURE LAND CLUB, CHANGSHU is rooted in Wu Culture and the millennia-old heritage of the ancient city. It is positioned as a comprehensive urban art space integrating art exhibition, high-end reception, fitness and wellness, and social experience. Centered on the contemporary expression of local culture, the design breaks the functional boundaries of traditional commercial spaces and reconstructs spatial value through immersive garden-style experiences, creating an urban benchmark that embodies regional character and contemporary aesthetics.

Rooted in the local cultural imagery of Changshu’s Square Pagoda, ancient alleys and classical gardens, the project adopts the core concept of “Wandering Among Pavilions: Symbiosis of Ancient and Modern”. It translates the traditional spatial forms of Suzhou gardens—pavilions, corridors, roaming sequences, and changing scenes with each step—into contemporary interior design language.

With “Exploring the Garden Realm” as the narrative thread, visitors wander through pavilions and corridors as “Urban Explorers”, experiencing the oriental charm unfolding naturally in a contemporary space amid shifting scenes. Transparent curtain walls bring outdoor landscapes indoors, creating a spatial backdrop of natural integration and seamless interior-exterior connection. Traditional commercial exhibition functions are subtly integrated into the immersive artistic setting, allowing visitors to stay leisurely and communicate freely.
