About The Entry

Addressing the high barriers to entry of traditional industrial CNC and the performance gaps in existing desktop products, the ToolDance X1 aims to redefine the value of desktop-class CNC equipment. It marks an evolution from a niche professional tool to an intelligent manufacturing platform that bridges the gap between creativity and physical reality. By integrating AI, machine vision, and automated machining capabilities, the X1 transforms complex technical workflows into an intuitive, seamless experience. This allows makers, small studios, and even everyday users to rapidly turn inspiration into tangible works, driving digital manufacturing from specialized fields to a broader audience. The ToolDance X1 is built on the philosophy of "Reimagining Industrial Performance through a Consumer Lens." Its restrained, minimalist geometric silhouette breaks the cold, rigid stereotype of traditional machinery. The rounded rectangular body balances spatial efficiency with an approachable feel, allowing it to blend naturally into studios, educational settings, and home environments. Large transparent windows paired with exposed core components turn the machining process into an observable, creative performance. Crafted from sandblasted anodized aluminum with a signature copper-gold spindle and hidden fasteners, the chassis strikes a perfect balance between precision engineering and consumer-electronics-grade finish, establishing a unique brand identity.

Users simply need to import a 3D model, and the system automatically handles CAM programming, toolpath generation, tool selection, and machining strategy—truly achieving "One-Click Machining." Equipped with a generous 400×265×180mm workspace, a 1500W high-performance spindle, and a high-rigidity structural design, the X1 handles a vast range of materials, including wood, plastics, aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, stone, and carbon fiber. The built-in 9-slot automatic tool changer (ATC) automatically recognizes tool types and executes rapid swaps, minimizing human intervention. Furthermore, an intelligent perception system—comprising an RGB camera, line-structured light, and a touch probe—automatically detects workpiece positioning, handles flip-side alignment, and measures dimensions, automating the entire workflow from setup to completion.

The device also integrates features such as intelligent collision protection, simulation previews, remote monitoring, and high-efficiency dust collection and cooling systems. This ensures a safer, more stable, and worry-free user experience without compromising on precision or efficiency.
