HENGXIN·FENGCHENGTIANXI

The Hengxin Fengcheng Tianxi project is situated in the core of Gaomi’s central urban area, strategically positioned along the Qingdao-Weifang economic development axis and adjacent to the Jiao River. Guided by the design theme "An Eastern Masterpiece: A Luxurious Sanctuary for the Soul," the project draws upon the cultural heritage of Gaomi—known as "Phoenix City"—to create a contemporary Eastern garden landscape that appears to float above a harmonious blend of mountains, waters, forests, and springs.

The design establishes a comprehensive landscape narrative framework based on a structure of "one loop, two axes, three gates, three courtyards, nine realms, and twenty-four scenic spots." Rooted in the cultural narrative of "The Phoenix Perches in Gaomi; The Imperial Seal Defines the East," the design incorporates the auspicious imagery of the phoenix and the ceremonial significance of the imperial seal. By weaving the "Phoenix City" legend and traditional Eastern aesthetics of elegance and order into the landscape, the project creates three thematic courtyards—North, Central, and South—linking the axes of "ceremonial homecoming" and "natural landscape."

The design focuses on five key value dimensions: creating a modern artistic landmark through "picturesque scenes amidst the clouds"; crafting a multi-dimensional, navigable aerial garden with "floating garden islands"; conveying Eastern poetic charm through "multi-sensory healing"; fostering an exclusive spiritual space via "a secluded sanctuary for the soul"; and ultimately delivering a premium living experience that resonates with the region's cultural heritage.

Adhering to a 35% green space ratio, the project employs techniques such as sunken courtyards, varied elevation landscaping, tiered rockeries with flowing water, and rhythmic planting arrangements to create an Eastern ceremonial space where "scenery shifts with every step." By deeply integrating Gaomi’s millennia-old cultural legacy with contemporary living needs, the project offers residents a luxurious sanctuary—a place to dwell, explore, and find emotional resonance.
