ROSE GRADEN

Conceived as "a rose garden blooming within urban architecture", this project transplants the romance of classical European gardens into Zhuhai MixC. Drawing from the essence of the Cotswolds and Monet's Garden—where "order meets wild beauty", this project contrasts the elegant structure of European-style gardens with the free-spirited growth of roses, providing a sensory healing venue where visitors can wander, listen, and connect with nature.

With the narrative of "revival and serendipity", this project creates an immersive space: dormant classical columns awaken with spring vines, while wind chimes whisper like the murmur of spring. Stepping inside, the noise of the outside world fades away, offering a moment of physical and emotional ease, sparking inspiration and encouraging a desire to share.

Spatially, European-style columns, rose arches, and floral corridors are subtly integrated to maintain smooth circulation while offering multiple spots worthy of shooting and lingering. Semi-enclosed areas such as winding corridors and pavilions naturally separate foot traffic from resting zones, optimizing spatial efficiency and enriching the visitor experience. The color palette draws from the soft pink of blooming roses, warm gray-white of the columns, deep green of leaves, and sunset tea gold, harmonizing with natural light and the changing seasons to spark a visual dialogue between the installation and the building's existing texture.

This project utilizes flame-retardant carved wood panels with a stone-like coating and custom PVC flooring, complemented by elements such as artificial flowers, turfs, Roman columns, ironwork, and European-style fountains. All components are detachable and reconfigurable for further reuse. While delivering an elegant visual texture and a breath of spring, these installations achieve lasting vitality and environmental value.
