Heart of Anji·Cloudscape

This project is located in the bamboo-covered hills of Zhangli, Anji, with a total built area of 2,675 m². Inspired by the flickering light of summer fireflies, the design team weaves the memory of ancient trails and the craft of bamboo weaving into the architecture — creating an immersive cultural tourism landmark where no native bamboo is removed and the buildings follow the natural contours of the mountain.

Far from a conventional enclosed attraction, this is a living village. Programmes for cultural exhibition, leisure experiences, eco-dining, and commercial streets are linked by corridors, allowing visitors to move through bamboo shadows and the sound of flowing water — achieving an immersive experience of “houses within the landscape, and the landscape within the houses.” The project is committed to putting ecological preservation and cultural heritage into practice, supporting rural revitalisation and the development of green tourism.
