About The Entry

A Modernist Tribute to Le Corbusier

Starma is an architectural sofa inspired by Le Corbusier’s pursuit of geometric purity. Featuring an asymmetrical, stacked silhouette, it combines Italian 3.0 aniline full-grain leather with Turkish seven-color agate stone, sawtooth shadow wood, and sandblasted black-gold stainless steel. The modular system allows dynamic spatial configurations, transforming the sofa into a functional sculpture. Prioritizing tactile luxury and ergonomic serenity, Starma offers a sensory experience rooted in natural materials.

crafted for the spacious living of penthouses and villas. Designed for longevity and emotional resonance, it redefines contemporary living by merging art, functionality, and the integrity of sustainable materials.

The modular configuration empowers users to curate their own spatial narratives, adapting to both intimate solitude and social gatherings. The low, grounded profile encourages relaxation, while the rich textures of leather and stone engage the senses. Starma is designed to be a companion—quiet, enduring, and deeply human.

Materiality & Craftsmanship Every material is chosen for its soul and longevity. We source Italian 3.0 aniline full-grain leather, retaining the hide’s natural pores and breathability for an authentic tactile experience. This is paired with Turkish seven-color agate stone, a material forged over millions of years, ensuring that each sofa base is a unique geological artifact. Sawtooth shadow wood and 201# stainless steel with a sandblasted black-gold finish provide structural precision and visual contrast.

User Experience

Starma transforms the living room into a purist stage, where orthogonal planes interact with shifting daylight."The modular configuration empowers users to curate their own spatial narratives, adapting to both intimate solitude and social gatherings. The low, grounded profile encourages relaxation, while the rich textures of leather and stone engage the senses. Starma is designed to be a companion—quiet, enduring, and deeply human.

Sustainability

Starma embodies sustainable luxury through longevity. By utilizing natural, high-quality materials and avoiding trend-driven forms, the design minimizes waste and aesthetic obsolescence. Physical finishing techniques reduce chemical impact, ensuring that the sofa ages gracefully, acquiring character rather than wear.Low-VOC adhesives, recyclable steel structure, and natural stone offcuts reused.
