About The Entry
Located in Jiangmen, Guangdong, this project is the 3.0 iteration of Poly’s Langyue product line.
Endowed with a natural mountain-and-water backdrop, a strong academic atmosphere and profound cultural heritage of the overseas Chinese hometown, the project caters to high-net-worth clients who attach importance to cultural inheritance, elite social circles and quality life.Carrying forward the oriental elegance gene of the Langyue series, the project takes *"Shanghai-style Landscape, Oriental Academy"* as its core design concept. Rooted in Jiangmen’s celebrity cultural lineage, the spatial layout of local academies and the Chinese-Western integrated architectural features of the overseas Chinese hometown, it extracts local cultural symbols including diaolou arches, palm craft textures and bougainvillea to integrate into landscape details.
The overall spatial framework follows the pattern of *"one axis, two belts, three gardens and eighteen scenic spots"*. The cultural ritual axis runs through six progressive ritual spaces; the three gardens respectively undertake functions of fitness & vitality, academy ritual order, and learning-accompanied healing; the two belts create Nanyang-style social spaces and urban welcoming scenarios.
The project is designed to build an elegant scholarly residence inheriting the academic legacy of the overseas Chinese hometown, blending Shanghai-style refinement with oriental poetry, and turning every homecoming into a poetic humanistic journey where scenery shifts with each step.
