Guomao SPRING – Renewal and Upgrade of the Old Shopping Mall at Shenzhen Guomao Building

After nearly 40 years of operation, the ground-floor shopping mall of Shenzhen Guomao Building has undergone a comprehensive transformation. With the theme of "A New Spring Story" and adhering to the principle of "restoring the old as it was," the project preserves the historical texture while infusing modern design languages, creating a "dare-to-trend" art and cultural lifestyle landmark for young people in Shenzhen and Hong Kong.

As the general design contractor, WUD Design provides integrated full-scope services including architectural planning, interior design, visual merchandising design, original IP design, wayfinding design, and overall soft furnishing. Guided by the spatial theme of "Springscape," the design breaks away from conventional commercial layouts, reconfiguring the narrative through natural curves and the art of light and shadow. A curatorial shopping flow is created to achieve a deep integration of commerce, art, and culture.
