Once an aging strip mall, the project now introduces a dynamic residential community featuring elevated gardens with sweeping Intracoastal Waterway views. Retail spaces energize the streetscape through pedestrian-friendly features like public plazas and inviting promenades. Together, these spaces unite ecological sensitivity with human connection, creating a thriving urban oasis.

To reinforce its ecological integration, the project employs a native plant palette inspired by the Maritime Hammock and Mangrove communities of Oleta River State Park. These plants not only support pollinators but also enhance biodiversity, stabilize soil, and connect the built environment to the park's rich ecological tapestry. In line with sustainability principles, permeable surfaces manage stormwater runoff, and resilient native plantings replace traditional sod, creating a resource-efficient and ecologically vibrant landscape.

Multidisciplinary collaboration transformed site constraints into opportunities, shaping a matrix of varied outdoor spaces that enrich community and ecology. These include public plazas, sheltered courtyards, retail promenades, and elevated gardens on the 3rd and 9th levels, each designed with unique exposures and microclimates to offer environments for recreation, contemplation, and social engagement.
