About The Entry
Hakuhodo DY ONE serves as the "digital core" of the Hakuhodo DY Group, consolidating the expertise, technologies, and resources of its operating companies to establish itself as the industry's premier digital marketing enterprise.
In conjunction with the strategic relocation of its Kyushu branch, the company unveiled an innovative workspace engineered to foster creativity, collaboration, and employee well-being. Built upon the overarching concept of "KYUSHU 'ONE' BASE," the design embodies the spirit of its company name—symbolizing both a commitment to single-handedly driving regional digital transformation and a dedication to uniting workforce capabilities. To bring this vision to life, the base is articulated through two distinct functional zones:
1. Entrance, Conference & Main Office Zone Drawing inspiration from the dynamic visual identity of the company logo, the entrance functions as a symbolic "gateway," generating an immediate sense of anticipation for arriving guests and team members. Adjoining conference rooms feature a refined, monochromatic aesthetic anchored in crisp white, projecting a sophisticated, focused brand image fit for a digital core. Extending from this sleek entrance, the main office floor transitions into an inviting, human-centric workspace defined by a bright, effortlessly cozy atmosphere that minimizes cognitive strain while elevating everyday productivity and comfort.
2. Work-Life Lounge Zone Designed as a vibrant hub for active restoration and organic interaction, the lounge offers a fluid environment where cross-functional dialogue occurs naturally over coffee or casual breaks. Incorporating the deep blue accents of Fukuoka's iconic Genkai Sea against a backdrop of warm, welcoming tones, the spatial design seamlessly merges local regional heritage with a high-end architectural dynamic.
Demonstrating a strong commitment to environmental responsibility, approximately 94% of existing office fixtures were thoughtfully repurposed into the new blueprint. Integrating familiar, well-loved furnishings within a modernized layout not only maximizes functional continuity and emotional comfort, but also dramatically reduces the project's ecological impact—proving that premium design and sustainable choices can comfortably coexist.
