This vehicle-drone system integrates drone capability into vehicle travel, allowing low-altitude imaging to support both the journey recording and vehicle perception. A compact quick-release docking unit connects the vehicle and drone. Temperature control and automatic charging keep the aircraft ready, while dynamic take-off and landing, vehicle following, recall, and intelligent capture support rapid deployment and coordinated operation on the move. The system also serves emergency response and public safety, using an aerial viewpoint to extend vehicle perception and provide data for autonomous-driving decisions.

The system is secured to the vehicle by suction cup within one minute and also supports roof-rack mounting. The fastest installation-to-take-off process takes approximately five minutes, while compartment temperature control and automatic charging keep the drone ready for deployment.

At vehicle speeds below 35 km/h, the drone supports dynamic take-off and landing, deploys from the compartment within 10 seconds with one command, and follows the vehicle automatically. Within a 50 m range, users can adjust its direction, altitude, and distance from inside the vehicle.

If an unexpected power loss occurs, the drone can return safely. Beacon-assisted recovery and one-touch recall within 2 km reduce the risk of losing the drone.

Intelligent algorithms coordinate flight, camera control, and editing, executing camera movements across 13 viewpoints and generating a rhythmically edited video with one command.

The vehicle-drone system organizes its form around a compact quick-release unit. A suction-cup interface and a roof-rack mounting option provide two methods of connection to the vehicle, both structured for rapid attachment and removal. The compact mounting layout integrates the functional components into the overall form, aligning the functional elements with a concise technological expression.

The quick-release structure supports both suction-cup and roof-rack mounting, allowing repeated installation and removal across different travel tasks. Safe return in the event of unexpected power loss, beacon-assisted recovery, and one-touch recall within 2 km reduce the risk of losing the drone and may help avoid premature replacement of the entire unit. Automatic charging integrates drone power replenishment into the vehicle-mounted unit, reducing the need for separate charging equipment and accessories.
