Nurmeo

Nurmeo is an intelligent dose-controlled medication system designed for administering liquid medicine to infants and young children. It aims to reduce the risks associated with inaccurate dose reading, unstable manual dispensing, and inadequate cleaning, particularly during nighttime care, when a child is distressed, or in other high-pressure caregiving situations.

Conventional medicine dispensers rely heavily on caregivers to read small measurement markings and manually control the amount delivered. Under low-light or stressful conditions, this can increase the likelihood of misreading a dose, administering medication twice, or delivering an inaccurate amount. Nurmeo responds to these challenges by integrating a smart medicine dispenser, detachable medicine reservoir, independent dosing chamber, and portable cleaning case into one coordinated caregiving system.

Caregivers set the required dose using physical buttons. A miniature pump transfers the medicine from the lower reservoir into a dedicated dosing chamber, where the selected amount is measured and temporarily stored before administration. By separating dose preparation from the act of feeding, Nurmeo reduces reliance on manual pressure and visual estimation. A clear display presents the selected dosage, adjustment increment, battery level, and operating status, allowing essential information to be checked quickly even in low-light or stressful environments.

The accompanying portable case integrates a cleaning brush, separated storage compartments, and a ventilated drying structure. The soft feeding tip, medicine reservoir, and dosing chamber can therefore be cleaned, stored, and dried independently, helping to reduce residue and secondary contamination.
