About The Entry

Situated on Huangshamudian Road, East Fourth Ring Road of Beijing, the project occupies a prime geographic position connecting Guomao, Wangjing and the city sub‑center. Centered on the theme ***“Lustre of Puyu: A Renaissance of Oriental Spirit”***, SRD DESIGN translates time‑honored intangible heritage crafts from imperial courts into contemporary spatial vocabulary. Tailored for Beijing’s new‑generation modern high‑end clients, the clubhouse delivers a luxurious, relaxing habitat imbued with oriental essence.

“Pu” embodies the authenticity of materials; “Guang“ represents the soul of art; *Yue* stands for peace and delight of mind. Guided by luxury comfort, light‑shadow rhythm and artistic blank‑leaving, the design avoids superficial replication of antique symbols. Starting from multi‑sensory perception, it balances ritual grandeur with casual relaxation, bridging age‑old craftsmanship and modern‑day living.

The reception area unfolds along the soft curved architectural envelope, underpinned by muted earth‑tone palette. Rounded upholstered furniture softens the monumental volume of space, while new‑Chinese solid‑wood curved chairs inject oriental genes. Select accents of red and yellow add subtle chromatic vitality. Poetic oriental subtlety is embedded within a modern‑luxury framework, creating a serene, sophisticated and welcoming ambience.

The banquet hall shifts toward an intimate, dignified atmosphere for private banquets. Contrasting light‑dark hues compose spatial temperament, enhanced by layered lighting that highlights material luster for exclusive high‑end feasting. Window‑side zones open to courtyard scenery. Integrated round‑table and tea‑room functions satisfy diverse local social scenarios including afternoon tea and tea receptions, maximizing multi‑functional flexibility.

Drawing inspiration from millennial intangible heritage techniques — coloured glaze, enamel, jade, gold foil, embroidery and lacquer‑ware — the design recodes traditional craft DNA into modern artistic expressions.

Wellness & relaxation zones take nature as inspiration. Warm raw materials such as timber, linen and green plants are prioritized with restrained ornamentation.

Adhering to the design philosophy: **Oriental, Global, Contemporary, Luxuriously Comfortable**. Instead of didactic cultural presentation, oriental aesthetics are embedded in flowing curved surfaces, light dynamics, material textures and spatial atmosphere. Occupants naturally perceive oriental aesthetic spirit through materials, light and spatial experience, witnessing a genuine contemporary renaissance of oriental culture.
