Super Binfen City

Located in Taizhou’s Luqiao District, this mixed-use development integrates retail, hotel and serviced apartments, reimagining the conventional commercial complex as a park-oriented urban community.

The design is anchored by the concept of “PARK + MALL + STREET + COMMUNITY”, weaving the surrounding park and Feilong Lake landscape into the architectural experience. Rather than separating enclosed retail from open-air streets, the project adopts a vertically integrated “Mall + Street” model, orchestrating open street retail, anchor destinations and interactive commercial spaces into a continuous three-dimensional environment.

The masterplan responds to the site’s level changes by creating multiple ground floors and multi-directional arrival sequences, enriching connectivity and extending the public realm across different elevations. A three-dimensional landscape system rises through the development, transforming circulation into an immersive spatial journey while linking retail and public spaces.

At the heart of the project, the “Stone of Life” establishes an urban park living room, drawing landscape deep into the architecture and blurring the boundary between interior and exterior. Terraced roofs, elevated streets and distinctive cloud-roof structures extend the park experience vertically, forming a layered sequence of gathering spaces, pedestrian routes and landscape platforms.

The project further introduces a 24-hour three-dimensional street, connecting urban nodes through an interconnected sequence of terraces, streets and social spaces. By vertically integrating nature, commerce and community, the design creates a new paradigm for park-oriented mixed-use development. It becomes an immersive urban destination where architecture, landscape and public life continuously converge.
