TRUMGETA Auxchemic® Running Boards

TRUMGETA Auxchemic® Running Boards are designed for drivers who use one vehicle for weekday family life and weekend exploration. Conventional running boards often force a compromise: comfortable, wide steps provide little side protection, while heavy rock rails can reduce everyday convenience and add unnecessary vehicle load. This design unifies both needs in a restrained, OEM-integrated form.

A wide, perforated aluminum tread supports confident entry for children, older passengers and booted users, while the openings help release water, mud and snow. Beneath it, a multi-tube protective architecture uses three vehicle-mounted brackets and a rock-rail-inspired lower guard to manage stepping loads and incidental side or underbody contact without visually overwhelming the vehicle. Installation uses existing vehicle mounting points: the brackets are fitted first, followed by the running-board body, improving alignment and avoiding vehicle drilling.

Durability is addressed through an electrophoretic base layer and the proprietary Auxchemic® protective coating system, developed for exposure to road salt, stone chips, rain, mud and temperature variation. Material sections were refined through CAE analysis to reduce mass while preserving target stiffness and structural confidence. The resulting silhouette follows the vehicle body line instead of adopting an exaggerated aftermarket look.
