COLI Guangzhou · Huanyu Xihe

Guangzhou China Overseas Huanyu Xihe Residential Landscape continues the overall vision of “TOD Vertical · Photosynthetic City” and adopts “Cloud Forest Isle” as its design concept. Responding to the needs of young and middle-aged families for quality homecoming, natural experience, and neighborhood interaction, it transforms the elevated communal floor and rooftop garden into a sky living garden that combines a ceremonial homecoming sequence, leisure and reception, and forest strolling experiences.

The design adopts a modern naturalist style overall, echoing the architectural language. With flowing curves, warm-toned materials, and naturally integrated planting, it creates a refined and relaxed garden atmosphere, extending nature beneath the building corridor and forming a touring experience where hall and garden merge and the scenery changes with every step.

The challenge lies in creating a rich garden experience within limited space. The design combines winding garden paths with floating-island flower beds to enclose and connect rich shaded rest spaces, forming a reception garden where forest and water intertwine. The homecoming corridor incorporates artistic tiles and a luxury stone feature wall to strengthen entrance identity and the ceremonial homecoming sequence, creating a warm and elegant welcoming atmosphere. The 2F commercial outer corridor uses distinctive paving combined with casual outdoor seating, connecting commercial vitality with community life to form everyday scenes for lingering and interaction.
