Corner of Light

For this newly built 66.1 m² apartment, the designer explored how to make a compact footprint feel expansive, adopting curved geometry as a unifying theme throughout the residence. Extending horizontally and vertically across the TV wall, ceiling, and window frames, curved lines soften boundaries between walls, cabinets, and overhead planes, seamlessly connecting divided volumes and creating an open sense of continuity.

Storage is integrated into the elevation order, where large cabinets use clean proportions and soft corners to minimize their visual presence while fulfilling daily functions and preserving clean spatial expressions. Built on off-white, grayscale, and warm wood tones paired with indirect lighting, light wanders gently along curved surfaces to reveal delicate layers throughout the day.

At the end of the corridor, an electric fireplace serves as a quiet focal point. Its subtle glow introduces a warm anchor within the low-saturation setting, bringing a graceful conclusion to the flowing rhythm of curves.
