About The Entry
Designed exclusively for ANTA’s offline stores, this series of art installations focuses on nine sports settings: basketball, tennis, badminton, diving, strength training, skateboarding, running, outdoor hiking, and rock climbing. Based on the core visual logic of “deconstruction and reconstruction,” the design disassembles the equipment for each sport into scattered functional components, then reassembles them into the head, torso, and limbs of a figure. Viewers can recognize the complete human form, while closer viewing reveals equipment details—for example, tennis balls, rackets, and court elements integrated into the tennis-themed installation.
The overall forms precisely capture explosive moments such as a tennis swing, a basketball drive, a skateboarding aerial, and a diver plunging into the water, giving the static sculptures a highly dynamic visual impact. Each assembled component is not only an external extension of the athlete’s physical capabilities but also a tangible manifestation of ANTA’s years of refinement in product materials and professional craftsmanship.
In terms of spiritual expression, the evolution from scattered parts to a reassembled whole symbolizes the athlete’s journey of transformation. The scattered parts represent training plateaus and low points in an athlete’s life, while the reassembly into a complete human form metaphorically depicts the journey of overcoming adversity and achieving rebirth. It thus conveys a brand sporting spirit that transcends mere victory or defeat and continuously pushes the limits.
