J·LALLI GLAMPING VACATION RENTALS

Located in Moganshan Scenic Area, Huzhou, Zhejiang, the project is a relatively closed building group, following the trends of its context and simulating the conditions of Moganshan Mountain. Moreover, each of the individual buildings also simulates the mountain contour lines to create a 3D garden full of vitality by terraces and vertical planting. Its four elevations with terraces applies the natural lighting into the building as well as enriches the urban interfaces, participating in the sustainable growth of the site by the indoor and outdoor communication.

In order to reduce the volume, the project creates diversified outdoor terraces to apply the the distant mountains and green bamboos into internal space by design techniques of setback, overhanging, hollowing out and etc., which blends the exterior with interior harmoniously and forms the living experience of ‘Absorbing the Mountains in One Room’. The multi-dimensional structure of "Ground Planting + Vertical Planting’,with the green atrium, creates a ‘Hanging Garden’ with organic interaction between physical functions and sensory experiences through the natural scenes that features various view points.

The layers of back set and courtyards in diversity reduce the volume and make the elevations rhythmic, creating free and flexible forms. Due to the variously interior space, hanging gardens in different scales are supported by umbrella-shaped components, which are organized in an interlaced pattern in a unified order. The integration of the nature and the random but rhythmic elevations creates a spiritual and free context; the pure and simple horizontal lines with umbrella-shaped wall columns display a kind of future style and sustainable living experience, building a landmark of the next generation’s living environment.
