The project creates an exclusive “urban secret garden” for urban elites in Beijing, the booming ancient capital of China.
Arc walls in the space produce a meandering visual effect, and mirrored materials extend the space visually, making a scene of “garden” slowly unfold. The view changes as visitors moving in the space. In addition, natural green landscapes and scattered lights endow the space with a healing and tranquil ambience. The overall design stimulates visitors’ sensory perception, and enables them to perceive its visual impact more directly. Various forms show the beauty of the space, and decorate this “floating secret garden” in the urban concrete jungle.
The attribute of a city lies in its culture, but more in its people. The “secluded” character of Chaoyang District, Beijing deeply attracts the urban elites there and breeds the ideal of creating a “garden” full of metropolitan ambience and nature’s vitality.
The ceiling structures reveal a powerful and dynamic aesthetic, which is appealing and impressive.
