Skyline Villa

Set on the hillside at the south end of Xiaojing Beach in Huizhou District in Guangdong Province, Skyline Villas comprise 142 luxury homes in China Resources Land's expansive residential project that is Park Lane Harbour. We were honoured to provide our services in Master Planning, Architecture and Interior Design for this prestigious development.



With the goal to create a development that offers a wide range of options, we designed six separate villa types with a hierarchy of space and amenity. Different villas have different layouts and design features targeting a wide array of end users. The principal driving force was to ensure that every villa had unobstructed ocean views regardless of size with the majority enjoying private swimming pools, terraces and gardens. We focused on creating a relaxing, resort-like environment, indoor and outdoor spaces integrate and appear to grow out of the natural landscape.



Passive environmental design is achieved through building orientation, insulations and architectural forms. By harnessing natural ventilation with generous ratios of windows to wall and combined with energy-saving glazing systems and louvers we have created very pleasant living environments. By making full use of the dynamic topography and developing sensitive architecture the villas integrate into the hillside climb along the contours providing stunning sea views along with good natural ventilation to each unit. Hearing the waves from the sea and being set within the wonderful beach environment form a beautiful scene of “Utopia”.
