Chocolate House is a feminine house, conceived for a refined young lady who wanted to dream of a new house. The house, although confined, has three floors, so one of the requirements imposed and to which it was imperative to obey was the integration of a lift. In its centre, the staircase in loose slats is attached to the wall that serves as an anchor to the glazed lift, which leans into the hollow of the small sculptural patio, which in its variable up and down energises the space. In the basement, the large garage communicates with the room where music predominates. The small patio illuminates the whole space, clearing it out, illuding the perception of buried space, and the narrow spans make us aware that they adapt to the outside slope. At the entrance floor, access to the house from the street is via a swing bridge over the parking ramp. The façade in "chocolate" bars bends in a canopy to mark the access. On this floor, only the large living room, rhythmic with its openings, and the kitchen are located. Nestled next to the lift, the pantry and service bathroom remain hidden. The back patio extends the kitchen, inviting you to socialise on hot days. On the upper floor, the cream colour standardises and illuminates the stairway bathed in light from the large skylight. The three bedrooms open out unhindered to the exterior and integrate the glazed private baths. And the space expands. The suite, where the glass cube in the bathroom allows you to organise the space in an "invisible" way, is spacious and overflows with light. Here, the balcony, the transparent bath and the narrow, cadenced openings create a unique space.
