Sun & Moon

The circular lines and shape of the oval ceiling in the lobby greet visitors at first sight as they enter the building. The enormous window ceiling brings an incredible amount of natural lighting without disrupting the flow of efficiency of the business.



The whole project is inspired by nature and a hint of astrological aspects. The designer replicated the relationship between the sun and the moon and light and darkness. The paradoxical concept allows curved lines and precise furniture placements to form beautiful layers of light and shadow that immensely enhance the surrounding's mood.

The designer went with a modernized and simplistic design without misleading the purpose of the building. Visitors are illuminated by meticulously placed light and shadow from every corner through advanced techniques to maximize comfort and adequate lighting for proper function.



In order to stack natural scenery in the interior, the space used earthy colors as the main color and wood as the structure of the space. The thin slate tiles with natural texture in the space, under introduced sufficient sun light, were vividly formed the view.



Metal mesh was used as a partition in the office area, allowing light to flow through the room in a foggy manner. The metal material also provided a good visual shield and neutralized the excessive softness in the space, allowing the linear visual contrast to add a calm and refined texture to the office area. The concave and convex curved design brought a refreshing visual effect to the office space. And the patio design with a spacious atrium allowed the staff to have a respite from the busy schedule and contact with nature.
