Green Living

Encapsulated in a light American country style, the designer not only directly and specifically "incorporates" rich cultural connotations into the design and visual elements of the space, but also thoroughly implements the idea of "green living" by leveraging design techniques that are aptly translated to showcase the space’s unique look corresponding to its surrounding environment.
With 99.174 square meters of interior space, the entrance of the foyer is designed with retro hexagonal tiles, paired with an iron frame and an inlaid vintage-style floral patterned glass partition, which separates it from the open living and dining area.... The green apple color corresponds to the warmth of the living room when the sunlight enters, and also provides an elegant and tranquil ambience when dining. The high bar design, solid wood dining table and chairs, and warm yellow lighting also surround the family with intimate and affectionate environs. The kitchen and dining room are planned in an open T-shape, and the lower section of the high stool bar is designed as a sideboard cabinet to store large baking equipment and kitchen appliances.
The hollow-square and half-height cabinets are designed as the main wall of the living room, which relieves the pressure from the large architectural beams. All the furniture comes from the homeowner, who is engaged in European-style furniture design. His products are exported across Europe. With the intent of eliminating superfluous decorations, the design language of the space is injected with rustic country charm, presenting an absolutely natural and autonomous character.
The design team chose to adopt simple lines and utilize variations in color and cabinets to make the partitions. Plus the injection of green building materials and environmentally friendly paint. This not only greatly embodies the aesthetic concepts of light country styles, but also realizes the ideal of a healthy and non-hazardous environment for the children to grow up in happily as well as a carefree living environment for the owners.
